Abstract: This fast paced-presentation will show off the work of a few scientist-artists and organizations who use data to create art. Their purposes for doing so include education, messaging, powerful imagery, sheer beauty, or all of the above.
Everything creates data. Data can be used to create art. This goes beyond simple infographics. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A period as well as a guided data-driven art activity. FWLSC will provide accompanying thematic food and drink suggestions. Please join us! - D. Watenpaugh, PhD
